Welcome to the Lab [Nabaztag]

Well it all started with a messenger chat! I was having a gabber with Sandro online and he mentioned this new rabbit thing he bought his boyfriend for christmas. Allegedly it connects to the internet wirelessly without the need to be connected to a computer and does all this crazy stuff.

Well as you can imagine I immediatley got onto the web after we finished off our chat and looked up the aforementioned item of fluffiness! It had everything one needs in a gadget and more. An API (application programming interface) which means you can make it do things you want it to, an 802.11g (industry standard wireless specification) interface, some really groovey lights, and the cutest set of ears which spin around as it goes through its Tai Chi moves, or simply gibbers on through it configurable crazy moods. I HAD TO GET ONE!!! And as it was birthday soon I elected that the fair Lukasz could get it for me. Which he obiediently did! It arrived the NEXT day and I set it up on the network.

Sit back and laugh .....

The bunny is hillarious. It announces the time in a crazy manner on the hour. Sometimes it just comes up with an outburst relating to some random feeling. Other times it spins it's ears randomly while putting on a light show. And that's just the basic stuff. It also gives you reports on the weather, how your stocks are doing, reads news RSS feeds, plays your custom MP3 files linked from any website, and communicates with other bunnies. Now lets not get carried away here! It's a gadget, not a world changing invention, but it is FUN!r!
