Wow! Looking for some good weather, guaranteed? Then make your way to the Californian desert! We just spent two weeks there staying at Mike & Linda Proberts holiday home. It was fantastic. 100 degrees most days, not a cloud in site for 80% of the time!.

And boy did we do some shopping. The GDP of California and Nevada must have doubled during our stay. Honestly we were like the Emelda Markos of the UK. I had to buy a new suitcase just to hold mine! Keri picked up some fabulous black and red pairs.

Ballon over the desert

It's the only way to travel, don't you know? We booked a hot-air baloon ride over the desert and it was well worth it!

We were picked up and taken to a secret location... ok so they were a little late, but not as much as we were excited. There were nine of us in the group. The rest were wrinklies. Anyway we were the last to arrive and the first baloon to take off.

This is a picture of our Baloon being inflated. It was amazing to watch.

Would you look at the sheer excitement on those faces! I thought it would be a bit nerve wracking, but to be honest it is so smooth when you leave the ground you don't even notice. It's a very peaceful feeling floating over the desert while the sun comes up over yonder mountains.

Did I mention that it was about 100degrees all day for most of the days?

Everybodies got a DREAM! Well mine came true, I finally got to prove that I do actually have the same size hands and feet as Harrison Ford. Which I suppose (and conclude might I add) makes me a big hunky sex symbol. Well I'm glad that's settled. Now all you haters can eat some humble pie and get off my last remaining nerve!

And just in case you needed any clarification on that point, here you go! Look at those breasts, the perfectly groomed hair, and the waxing on those legs would put any spanish woman to shame I tell you!
