The food was as nice as the company!
We met up with Lukasz's friend on the Island. He was such a star organising everything for us. We stayed in an apartment with a great view of the ocean as you can see from the pic' below! Every day and night we had an activity to do. On Thursday we climbed Tede, the volcano on Tenerife, which is also the highest peak in Spain (weird and wonderful fact). We did a lot of body-boarding as Tenerife is the watersports capital of Europe (more Vernon like trivia!). We had a 5hour catamaran cruise around the Island, did some whale watching, and dolphin searching, also we did some snorkling.
On the last day we even went parasailing. Lukasz was crapping himself for days before it as he had a fear of heights. But after doing it, he wanted to go up again!!!And now he is talking about the next time we can go and do it!!!!.
What's all the fuss about?
Sitting on the top of Tede you realise just how exciting it must be for those mountain climbers who climb REAL mountains. It is such a buzz to be there above the clouds looking down into the tiny towns below and realizing there is no point on the Island higher than you are at!
