It's ALL about the boots sweetie!

Lukasz rented his boots for the week . I bought mine from the sports shop in the broad street mall. The are Head boots and boy were they comfortable. I did not come back with the loss of feeling in my toes like I had after the Slovakia ski trip last year. Definately I would recommend the brand to anyone thinking about buying.
Think spectacular views and multiply that x10!

We dropped the car off at the bottom of the mountain and then rode the gondola up to the top. It's a 15 minute ride and once up there we made our way to the hotel. The luggage was transported to the hotel by SnowSki.
This is the view out of our hotel rooms terrace. It shows the gondola station down to Kitzbuhel.
This is one of the best views from the mountain. Just after the ski lift you can get some spectacular views. Unfortunately it is not the best place to stop for a picture as there are plenty of skiers waiting to zoom past. Notice how there are no barriers on the left hand side, and believe me it is quite easy to fall off if you are not careful. We saw one man being dragged back up by his friends after mistakingly skiing over the side!
Did I mention that it was also very warm for most of the time we were there? I brought loads of warm wolly jumpers and did not need to wear any of them over the entire trip (well except for in the evenings when we had to look kind of swanky for dinner and all!)

Everybodies got a DREAM! Well mine is to be the best at skiing that I can possibly be! On the first day I took a wrong junction on one of the runs and ended on a red run. Marjena followed and Lukasz luckily did not. We ended up on a very steep red run (not for beginners) and I almost crapped my pants! Marjena went over a mogul and took off. unfortunately I was too busy picking snow out of my nose and ears at the time to notice!
And just in case you thought it was ALL about the ski, well not only! We also found time to fit in some beers and a lot of food, and by a lot I MEAN A LOT!!!
This is Victoria. She is only four and a half years old and she was skiing like a champion. We were amazed to see her sliding down slopes we could only dream of hitting next year or the year after!
Oh the fun you can have with Dice!
As I mentioned it was not all about the ski. When we retired to the hotel after a hard day on the slopes we got the dice and cards out. Played a new game called Stew. Look out for an upcoming stew night at ours....... IT's ADDICTIVE!!!!
