It's nice to get the old bike out of the shed!
Good ol' faithful !
I AM going to lose weight this year. How sad is it when you look at a picture of yourself three years ago and realise that you are now the size of a ship! Well it will be no more I tell you. I am going to do a lot more cycling this spring/summer and hopefully have the body of an adonis by 2017. Well that's the theory anyway.
Happy days in Manchester !
We headed up to Manchester last weekend to visit Pedro and Gordon. Pedro cooked a great meal with in a Spanish stylie, which as always was muchos yummieness! It was really nice to see them both again, and word on the street (and this is a Dzynelab world exclusive) they will be heading to Reading sometime in the not too distant future to reconnect with the indigenous population... happy days! Watch this space for details of their inpending tour, and for ticket availability.
They might look like a pair of idiots but that's nothing compared to the state they were in at the end of the night. I am of course talking about Lukasz and Pedro here, not myself and Gordon!!! We all headed into the city centre and in true Pedro and Gordon style we made our way to the Outpost for a few scoops before hitting the dance floor and strutting our stuff in Legends.
The nice things helped a lot with the evening. And with the added bonus that nice things do not break the bank in Manchester. Why does there have to be such a price difference???? Bloody market forces my arse!
Check out this funny video of Pedro and Lukasz who think I am about to take a photo of them!
It's was Mikes anniversary on the 16th March
How could we ever forget Mike? Three years have passed since he left us but not for one moment could he be out of our memories. Such a happy and kind natured person is very hard to come by. The 16th of February 2004 was a very sad day for me (and I'm sure all of us). If you have a spare minute on the 16th, spend it remembering some happy times spent with him. It's through our memories that will live on.
It's also 4 years since I bought the house on Amersham road. How time flies. A lot has changed in that time. Here's a picture of Pedro I took outside the house, just after I collected the keys from the estate agents. You can see the old electricity depot across the road. It's all apartments now... not sure which I prefer :o)
