Summertime......
And the garden comes into it's own again. Oh the joy of actually enjoying a walk out the back door into it . During the winter months it's the equivelant of medusa's barnet, but come springtime it does start to reward us. Pity it only lasts for about 3 weeks! ;o)
Happy days partying down the Thames!
So we went to London got a Boat Party last month. It was organised by some DJ's from the region (oh sounds sooooo provincial). Ben, Susies b/f was one of the DJ's which is kind of how we heard about it. So how was it? GREAT. Really a nice day out.
Lukasz's friend Maicej and his b/f David came along, as well as Keri and Andrew (keri as always looked like le movie starlet... honestly she just gets better and better looking every day). Andrew got me so drunk (who cares, he was paying.. haha).. .but seriously I had quite a head.
Anyway we took loads of great pic's which can be viewed here and in the photo section. Really a great day out.
Keri takes time out of her busy autograph signing schedule to fit in some time with friends......
It's a work of Art and an engineering feat too, don't you know?
Can you believe it, I've lived in the UK for almost 15 years and I have never seen the Thames barrier. No I'm not one of those propeller head techno geeks. But come on this is an engineering miracle and it's well worth a look if you can.
So when the boat party drifted past the afore-mentioned structure I was pretty chuffed and grabbed a few snaps for the family album.
The were also some other feats of engineering which were worthy of capture!
For example while making my way back from the toilets I happened upon this amazing structure attached to the head of our very own Keri.
No it's not attack of the 60foot drag queens wig.... this is actually her own mullett. Top marks to her for her folacle abilites

Who would have thought? BB Contestants holed up on a boat for three weeks before the show starts.

Anyway we had a really nice day and I would recommend it to anyone who has ever thought about it. The tickets were not that expensive and the crowd were so lovely. You can see more pic's on the photo section of the web site. Aww would you look at the two of them, soooooo cute!
